• Started in 2019, Luis Bühler, a visionary in the realm of consumer packaging, launched a new chapter in a career dedicated to creativity, sustainability, and user-centric design. His innovative contributions have not only transformed the way products are packaged and presented but have also played a pivotal role in promoting a circular economy. Throughout his career, Luis Bühler understood the growing concern for the environment and embarked on a mission to revolutionize packaging with sustainable materials. He was instrumental in introducing innovative, eco-friendly packaging solutions, reducing waste, and promoting recycling across industries. Luis has been granted several patents including, most recently, those associated with Re-Lid.

• Professional experience includes executive positions at SIG - Combibloc, building the business presence of the SIG Liquid Packaging -Aseptic Technology Systems globally. As CEO of Alupack AG (Swiss aluminum container packaging technology), he led the development of the Nestle Nespresso ALU-Capsule from concept through mass commercialization. As founder/CEO of Process Point Service AG (Swiss), he added entrepreneurial experience in a start-up, aluminum container business by combining high efficiency manufacturing technology with advanced ALU packaging materials as a system. Followed by a successful sale to Aluflexpack Group AG, he remains as a member of the Board of Directors of AFP listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.

• In building Re-Lid Engineering AG, Buhler has developed a talented, cohesive organization that has a pioneering spirit and dedication to sustainability and user-centric design. Re-Lid is determined to have a profound impact on the consumer packaging industry. The expansion to North America- ReLid USA- is led by experienced professionals from the beverage packaging industry. The US team has significant experience with packaging innovation commercialization as well as starting and scaling modern manufacturing operations. The global Re-Lid culture shares a belief that the stewardship of the environment is everyone’s responsibility.
